I was just hesitant to spend the money. I own several other watches from manufacturers such as Pulsar, Fossil and Swatch. So, for my birthday this year, I decided to splurge. This watch is notably more well designed and built than any other watch I own. When picked up, the first thing you notice is the weight of it. The stainless steel and titanium promise durability and it's sapphire crystal face is impervious to scratches. Like other reviewers, I noticed the accuracy of the chronograph and the precision in the construction of the bezel, dial and buttons. All in all, it is a beautiful, sporty and classy watch.
Update - 3/24/10
Woke up in the morning to find watch had stopped during the night. Seemed to work again after resetting the correct time. But, the large second hand used for the chronograph function was not aligned any more with the default 12 o'clock position. I contacted... Read more

Love my new Tag Heuer, June 4, 2008 Amazon Verified Purchase This watch is great for automotive racing drivers and fans. The split time functions are just awesome. I am not sure if I made the right choice on the rubber band though. Tag Heuer states in the owner's manual that prolonged users should choose a metallic band over the rubber. I just preferred the sportier look of the rubber. People should also know that the large red sweeping second hand is part of the stop watch functions not constantly sweeping as part of the time keeping function. The smaller red second hand is the constant sweeping time keeper. So the large red second hand stays idle at 12 o'clock when stop watch functions are not in use. That just proves however that sport/racing comes first with this watch. Lastly the box is almost as impressive as the watch. Remove the watch "pillow" and it's a great place to store your watch when not wearing it.

Is really beautiful and good watch.
If you want a good watch with swiss mechanic and look very nice with a sport touch this is perfectly for you.
I had a tag heuer formula one for 5 years and I can say that it is a very good watch, never had a problem with it, I only changed its battery one time. I almost cry when someone stole me this watch.
I bought this new one just one month ago, and I like it so much.
Kimi, Alonso and Hamilton use it!!!!!
